Psychometric Testing

Occupational or ‘psychometric' testing gives employers a strong tool to use in enhancing the quality and quantity of information available for selection, development and training decisions, and as an aid to organisational change.

Use of these assessments allows an organisation to gain clear measures of an individual's personal attributes - their abilities, skills, knowledge, and behavioural style.

Psychometric Testing

If you want to improve your assessment of person-job fit and create a more robust recruitment process, or have a better understanding of development potential for your existing staff, we can:

  • Conduct Abilities Testing, which is designed to assess the results of formal education and/or the ability to acquire further knowledge or skills.
    • For example, Verbal, Numerical, and/or Clerical tests, among others.
  • Conduct Personality Questionnaires, to assess an individual's personality and their preferred behavioural styles, including aspects like team, reporting, and leadership styles.
  • Conduct 360 Degree Competency Assessments, to help identify individual strengths, development needs and any 'blind spots' so that personal development can be targeted appropriately.
  • Provide advice about the best testing options based on job requirements and competencies, and give feedback to employers and candidates about their results and how these fit against the role.
  • Identify key areas from the testing results that differentiate people so you can make a more informed placement decision, or identify areas for personal development.
  • We are providers of SHL testing, and our online testing system means your candidates don't always have to come to us - we can organise testing around the country, whether supervised or unsupervised.
  • We also provide the OPRA Genesys range of supervised testing in-house, giving employers another testing option, depending on which best suits their needs.
