Health and safety is an integral and fundamental factor of the successful performance of all businesses.

The Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992 puts significant responsibility on both employers and employees to ensure that they are operating in a responsible manner and with safe working practices.

As this works best in a partnership, it is important for employers to encourage staff to recognise and accept their responsibility for the safety of themselves and their fellow staff.
